"Grease"

Grease
My brother is a mechanic and, although he is very happy in his job which the whole family are very pleased about, my mother finds it very difficult because he always comes home covered in Grease from the cars. Obviously, there are a lot of other stains as well on his overalls but my mother says that it is the Grease that is really difficult to get out in the wash. She is constantly going on at him about it and, although we all think it is ridiculous as he is bound to get Grease on his clothes in a job like that, she takes no notice of any of us and carries on scrubbing at his overalls. I took her to one side the other day and told her to leave his overalls alone. I had been to see my brother at his work a couple of days before and what struck me was that the other staff were quite happy to work in dirty overalls. I told my mother this but she would not hear of it and said there was no way she was going to send my brother to work in dirty clothes. I think he is just going to have to put up with my mother`s eccentricities if he wants an easy life! Either that or leave home altogether!
